OVERVIEW

I recently graduated with an MS in Data Science at New York University in New York, NY. I joined NYU in August 2019 after completing a 5-year Integrated Master's Degree in Physics at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), India in May 2019. A physics enthusiast since childhood, I have spent most of my academic career learning theoretical physics, mathematics, and its applications.

Until now I have usually worked on projects in Experimental High Energy Physics which have given me a lot of experience in analyzing a huge amount of data. My projects require an understanding of the complex physical phenomenon, then extracting, analyzing and calculating useful quantities from the given data by computation and making useful plots to help better understand the processes and reach suitable conclusions.

After my master's in physics, I felt I should discover the world of data science too as I enjoyed crunching numbers while working on complex physics research projects. Check out the exciting work that I have done in my projects and have a great time!
